Just sharing some views of todays frosty trees…they were too pretty not to take a picture…

So, I have to admit, I LOVE being with my kiddos!  I’ve been a bit of a sappy, sentimental mom this month with just the rat race of the Christmas season and all the distractions that have seemed to have taken me away from the moments in their lives that really cannot be retrieved.  I believe that we are finally finished and the next few weeks are all about them.  I am so grateful for all the special moments we have been able to share this month and I cannot even express how much I’m looking forward to each of the little moments we are about to share during this very special time of the year.  It will likely be pretty quiet on the blog but I do want to thank all who continue to read my ramblings and check back for the latest pics.  Here’s wishing each of you many special moments with YOUR families and friends.  Merry Christmas!

As for the pics…we’ve sure seen a lot of the white stuff lately but it’s quickly disappearing!  Here’s MY angel…

My cold tree-hunting baby boy…he’s such a trooper – he did great!  (FYI, we searched for maybe 15 minutes in cold, falling snow to then decide we would search within a tree lot!  First time in FOREVER!!  Regardless, we have one pretty and perfect tree this year – hey, if you have to buy one, you may as well buy the good one.)

What the camera sees most of the time…

Okay, so seriously, I HAVE been an absent blogger…sheesh!  The activities and tasks involved with Christmas have completely absorbed me.  Between Christmas programs, dance recitals, prepping for parties, special projects, and shopping, I think I’ve forgotten how to use this little machine with a screen.  I’m not sure what it is about this year but Christmas is going to be here a bit quicker than I am ready for.  As for the positive, I believe I am officially done shopping.  I thought going to Target once a day lately was a problem but embarrassingly, I was there not once, but TWICE yesterday!  I might as well put on my khaki’s and red shirt and just join them.  I have no plans on going there today.

Photos inevitably surface as gifts in one way or another and I always enjoy the process of looking through my archives of the year’s endless photos of my kiddos.  I couldn’t help but share this one…I think he lost something. ;)
