So, the temperature hasn’t been above 10 degrees in well over a week. Needless to say, we’ve spent very little time outdoors. So, aside from eating, doing laundry, and wrapping gifts, we managed to squeeze in a little time taking holiday photos of our little guy.

Every little turkey needs holiday photos and I couldn’t help but retrieve an oldie but goodie of Little Miss and her friend…what a difference three years makes. (I took this with my first digital point and shoot…4mp!).

Speaking of the little lady, she had her first Christmas Performance this week and oh, I cannot tell you how good it was. It was set up as a Nursery Rhyme theme and they were so, so, so very cute and they all did so well. It amazes me how, at that age, they are not nervous or shy about performing. I loved how they came out so very proud of themselves and would find their parents in the audience and smile and wave at them. I just loved it! So much sweetness in one room. Anyway, the story behind the dress: this happens to be my dress from when I was a wee tot. And the story behind the brown pants that don’t particularly match: One Christmas Performance + 25 kids + 25 costumes = missing tights.

This fall/winter has been all about the nursery rhymes, hence the most appropriate find of an ornament this year for her…

Here she is making entertaining faces at her brother who was just below me, likely attempting to get the camera. And yes, she IS still in her jammies. I told ya, it’s cold outside!
