Cheese please!!

November 30, 2008

Phew!  I have to admit, this was actually quite the relief.  I think I was in need of a little mini-session as I’ve been behind the computer processing images and ordering prints FOREVER!  Anyway, this was a nice little break and aren’t they just the sweetest??  These are our dear, dear friends who have been so very patient waiting for a tiny window of photo time.  Here’s a little peek!

As for the “cheese please,” this is what he said before this click…hee, hee, hee…

Thankful…

November 26, 2008

Here we are only hours before our day of thanks and what a perfect time to take a glance at our blessings.  I have thought frequently today how blessed I am and so thankful for the life I’ve been given.  I have a husband who is so, so, so very good to me (too good) and I look at my little girl and my baby boy and I find myself having to catch my breath as my heart swells and I get that little tighting in my throat.  The other day, when asked what she is most thankful for, Little Miss said her brother.  And she meant it.  She is truly the most loving, caring, and amazing little girl with a personality filled with humor, sass, spunk, and lots of drama.  I’m in awe of her every single day.  As for the little guy, oh, what a little man who I adore.  I hold him each day and rock him a little longer each night as if to hold back the time.  I love, love, love his beaming smiles, little giggles, the tiny little fingers in my hair, his breath on my face…oh, he is such a gift.  They are my world…

The neglected blog…

November 17, 2008

So sorry for my lack of posting on the blog this last week.  We were out of town over the weekend to see a furry red little guy named Elmo, yes folks, LIVE IN CONCERT!!  Fun was had by all!!  Little Miss didn’t rush the stage, however.  We did see one little girl go for it though, followed by her very fast moving mother behind her.  Hee hee…

Thought I would leave you a couple more pics of this dreamy one-year-old and his folks…

Cousins…Sneak Peek

November 8, 2008

This was a gathering of cousins for a grandparent Christmas gift.  Even though it was a little damp outside, it really was a great day for photos and these turkeys did great.  Lots of fun…EVERYONE had 100% confidence it would work out just perfect, eh, eh??

Oh, the good ol’ age of one…they’re just so curious and busy and loving and still think you’re just so amazing… :)

This was definitely a cold late afternoon but we decided to go for it and this little guy (and his folks) did great.  He did finally decide to call it quits (burrrr!) but not before we could steal a few looks at those baby blues.  Thanks guys!!

lil’ spooks…

November 1, 2008

Oh, I love the holidays and Halloween is just the best intro.  I have always loved Halloween and with kids, I love it even more.  Little Miss wasn’t going to be anything other than a princess this year and Snow White it was.  Tiny Tim had his heart set on being a turtle and lucky for him, his sister was one when she was his age. :)   Yet another lucky year with perfect weather for good spooky fun as long as their little eyelids would stay open….

We’re talking about complete transformation, she woudn’t even answer to anything but Snow White…

He was just perfectly content sitting outside sucking his thumb…

This was earlier in the day.  I loved big sister holding her brother and I love the expression on his face and of course, I love that little weiner dog…

A pirate and a princess…
