November 1, 2009SKYE HATTEN PHOTOGRAPHY: {dates, news, misc.}
September 10, 2009So, I’m really having a hard time grasping at the fact that it is September already. Fall it by far my favorite season but I have to tell you, I’m a bit bummed it’s here so quick. It seems like it’s always a bit bittersweet because I’m crazy about this time of year but it goes as quick as it got here. I mean seriously, what am I going to wear for Halloween??!!
As we’re entering that time of year, I felt compelled to throw out the key dates to remember for sessions and orders.
November 1, 2009 – last session date of the year to guarantee Christmas delivery
November 18, 2009 – last day to place an order to guarantee Christmas delivery
December 1, 2009 through January 1, 2009 – I’ll be extremely unavailable as I’ll be devoting this entire month to my very supportive family
SPECIAL OFFER: Bonus 25 Folding 5×7 Custom Designed Christmas Cards with any order of Collection III or higher.
On to at least one photo…okay, so I always have my favorites from a session and the family always has their favorites. Sometimes they’re the same but often times they’re different. I couldn’t be happier to know that we shared this one…

SKYE HATTEN PHOTOGRAPHY: {Phew, finally!}
February 25, 2009WELCOME TO THE NEW BLOG!! I was beginning to wonder whether this was going to become reality or not because you see, I, Skye Hatten, am not a computer programmer. <<GASP>>
Regardless, here we are and I cannot tell you how excited I am to introduce you to BIGGER photos! Okay, so potentially, I’m a tad more excited than you but I’m certain you’ll whoop and hollar when no one is looking.
The Hunt…
December 14, 2008Okay, three years running, we are officially hunters of the all mighty Christmas Tree. We’ve had lots of luck with weather and last weekend was no exception. Our rather large tree should be thanking us now as the high tomorrow is expected to be a rather brisk -11 degrees. Eeek!! Anyway, wanted to post some pics of our winter fun…

We go with our good friends…

We bought this sled this year and it worked out perfect. Little man was completely relaxed and entertained. He loved it!

Just a little holiday fun from the Hattens!
December 5, 2008Here’s a little something that may make you giggle…
The neglected blog…
November 17, 2008So sorry for my lack of posting on the blog this last week. We were out of town over the weekend to see a furry red little guy named Elmo, yes folks, LIVE IN CONCERT!! Fun was had by all!! Little Miss didn’t rush the stage, however. We did see one little girl go for it though, followed by her very fast moving mother behind her. Hee hee…
Thought I would leave you a couple more pics of this dreamy one-year-old and his folks…

lil’ spooks…
November 1, 2008Oh, I love the holidays and Halloween is just the best intro. I have always loved Halloween and with kids, I love it even more. Little Miss wasn’t going to be anything other than a princess this year and Snow White it was. Tiny Tim had his heart set on being a turtle and lucky for him, his sister was one when she was his age.
Yet another lucky year with perfect weather for good spooky fun as long as their little eyelids would stay open….

We’re talking about complete transformation, she woudn’t even answer to anything but Snow White…

He was just perfectly content sitting outside sucking his thumb…

This was earlier in the day. I loved big sister holding her brother and I love the expression on his face and of course, I love that little weiner dog…

A pirate and a princess…

Working it for the camera…
October 26, 2008Although it was a pretty brisk evening, these guys did great! Cute, cute, cute…here are some sneak peeks from tonight. Thanks so much for a fun one…it’s not every session I get to ride a 50 motorcycle in addition to taking pics. Woo hoo!

I’m in love…
October 16, 2008…with a barn. Red barns, aren’t they beautiful?! Sneak peek pics from tonight. Love, love, love them. You guys did great! And the dogs…how smart and perfect for the camera can they get?!

I even took little miss with me to this one and am so, so glad I did. She’s so fun and I knew she would love it since “Jetta” would be there. She loves Jetta! We never talk about a horse without Jetta’s name coming up. We both had such a fun time, thanks guys!

Holly and her girls…
September 27, 2008We’ve been planning this session forever! Finally, we made it happen. I found it definitely worth the wait as we had a ton of fun with only one minor “oops, I hit my face on a hay bale.” Nothing a little “rub some dirt on it” won’t cure. Evenings can be unpredictable on the moods of little stinkers but these girls did great. Lots and lots of sweetness…thanks ladies!
